1st time in a caravan and we were so impressed. It was spotlessly clean and far more spacious and comfortable than expected. We had a sage 2 and it was fine for 2 adults, a 5yo and a baby in a travel cot.We had only 1 minor issue that was fixed immediately and although nowhere looks its best in February, the site was quiet, well managed and plenty of staff around busy on upkeep.

We stayed in the Limetree lodge which was absolutely stunning. As a family of four the layout and storage was exceptional with two walk in wardrobes, a large area to kick off your shoes and store coats and shoes away neatly. The proximity of the park to Edinburgh was fantastic which meant we could enjoy a trip to the city with only a short train ride. We used the onsite pool several times using their booking service which worked really well. The only thing we would recommend is that the park invest in some decent mattresses. For a luxury lodge these were terrible as you could feel every spring. On a bigger scale the layout of the park could be improved so that lake side lodges actually view the lake rather than jt being surrounded by a large embankment.

Very good holiday park. The caravan was very clean and high standards i would say.The only thing that i didn’t like was swimming pool. I would say too small for that kind place and it is difficult to book a slot. So kids had a chance to swim only once. Otherwise everything was good. Beautiful location and only one stop by train to Edinburgh. Definitely worth to visit
