If you’re away for the Easter holidays, look out for National Trust Easter trails across England, Scotland and Wales. Many sites put on themed hunts, crafts and games, so you can turn a simple stroll into a full family day out.

Make the most of spring

Easter falls right at the start of spring, when everything feels fresh and full of life. Flowers bloom, birds start singing again and the days stretch out a little longer.

It’s the perfect time to get outdoors. Wander through flower-filled gardens and bluebell woods. Spot wildlife at an RSPB reserve. Watch lambs and rabbits in the fields. Pack a picnic, plan a bike ride or head out on a countryside walk while you’ve got the extra daylight.
