Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat is part of the Evermore Lodge Holidays Collection tucked away in tree shrouded seclusion above the small and picturesque harbour of Mullion Cove on the Lizard Peninsula, home to a small fleet of fishing boats. Famed for its spectacular coastline, outstanding natural beauty, crystal waters and gentle climate; this Cornish coastal escape, the home of Poldark, is perfect for families and couples seeking to unwind in an unchanging paradise.

The lodges are perfect for relaxing and rejuvenating, featuring contemporary interiors bursting with style, many of which enjoy an outdoor hot tub, perfect for soaking up the sun or the beguiling ambiance of this seaside retreat. Surrounded by rugged coastline and green hills there are beautiful nature trails to explore in the surrounding area.

This area of Cornwall captures the imagination of filmmakers and artists the world over, with Mullion Cove’s diminutive harbour and spectacular coastal walks. Just hop in the car and explore the evocative traditions of vibrant fishing villages, countless hidden coves, gorgeous sandy beaches, and not forgetting to try the local Cornish pasties! The park’s desirable location means golf, horse riding, surfing, and diving are all accessible close-by, and for the cyclists there are cycle rides to enjoy, and bike hire available locally. Just over an hour’s drive will bring you to the Tate St Ives with works by modern British artists with links to St Ives, the Eden Project, family attractions for a fun day out and several famous gardens.

The location of this site is ideal for a quite stay ... entrance to site is a bit off putting because it looks like ur driving into a disused farm yard with rusty decapitated sheds. But the site its self was well maintained once you had driven through the gates.Only had a little contact with staff but they were lovely and keen to help with anything.Apart from reception there's nothing on site like a small shop or being able to buy necessities from reception.... like milk, bread, tea or coffee ... also they confidently have a barbecue attached to railing where you could use a disposable barbecue.... would be a good idea if these could be purchased from reception too ..... just include details on information sheet. I will say that the information sheet was informative for details of where things were available shops pubs etc.Our lodge did not have a smart TV but the WIFI and Mobil network was shockingly bad .... but the sire was down a hill and we had a couple of bad stories which I am sure affected them both. It's not a site for young families.... lodge's are quite close together so there's nowhere outside the lodge decking for children to play. Ideal for those who want to be close to coast or to just use as a base yo explore from. Dogs were welcome on site .. but not sure if it was in all lodge's.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others. This lodge was a complete letdown from the moment we arrived. I had to clean it myself — including the fridge, which was in a disgusting state. Hair was left all over the place, the bath mat was filthy, and the floors clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. Thankfully, I brought my own bleach and wipes, but I shouldn’t have needed to scrub a supposedly “luxury” lodge myself. The windows were drafty, the doors didn’t shut properly, and the taps were dangerously mislabeled — my autistic daughter unfortunately scalded herself because of this. Completely unacceptable and potentially very serious. To make matters worse, the neighbouring lodge occupants were smoking cannabis the entire time we were there. How this went unnoticed or unaddressed by staff is beyond me.We booked this as a relaxing break and instead spent our time cleaning and stressing. This was very far from the luxury experience we were promised, and sadly we won’t be booking through Hoseasons again
