The stay was relaxing despite the lodge being grubby. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for months with cobwebs everywhere, Windows filthy, Decking dirty, the list goes on. Brocken glasses and bowls in the cupboards and had not been cleaned properly. Overgrown greenery making it difficult to park. The only shop was a coop convenience shop what were charging ridiculous prices but no choice unless you wanted to travel nearly 1 hour to the nearest aldi. No fish and chip shop or any other food outlets like Burger King, Kentucky, McDonald’s or subway for miles. No onsite food outlets or shops. For the amount of money payed it really isn’t worth it. We certainly wont be booking there again.

Fabulous location. Just a shame there is no pub closer. Lot to do in the area. We’ve stayed at Darwin Escape lodges many times and this lodge was not on the same level. The floor was rotting in the bathroom and corner of the kitchen. There were cobwebs hanging from the bedroom ceiling and light shade in the lounge. They are 11 years old so nothing more than expected.Hot tub was spotless and checked daily.Recommend Wavecrest cafe at Lizard Point, amazing food with an amazing view and Coast in Lizard village.
