We went out of season so the on site cafe etc wasn't open, but there were shops and cafes just 7minute drive away.I read lots of reviews about the site and caravans and they weren't very promising, so we were pleasantly suprised when we arrived, a lovely clean and well looked after site and our caravan (river pet 6) was perfect for us , clean well equipped and lovely and warm. I shouldn't have taken any notice of the reviews,The only thing I can think of to have improved our stay was a gate on the veranda so I could have let my dogs sit out there in the sunshine, (they have a tendency to scarper off if they can ) but very happy overall.

We stayed in the Sandown bungalow which was clean and the beds were made up which was nice. Although the bungalow is a little tired looking it had everything you need and was lovely and warm , only downside was were unable to connect to the internet as the bungalows were not included . All the staff were really friendly and helpful would go again
