out of 5

Located in the heart of Cornwall and set on a stunning country estate, Hengar Manor occupies the grounds of a 35-acre country estate and is a great location from which to explore the delights of North Cornwall.
With the rolling hills of Bodmin Moor nearby and the popular seaside towns of Port Isaac and Padstow a short distance away, it is easy to see why it is such a popular choice for a Cornwall holiday.
The Park offers a wide variety of self-catering accommodation from modern caravans by the lake to lodges and bungalows – giving you a perfect base to enjoy your holiday in Cornwall.
On-park there is a wide range of activities including an indoor swimming pool and a newly refurbished clubhouse offering a restaurant and bar, or can laze the days away on one of the three coarse fishing lakes. Further afield it is close to the many amazing highlights Cornwall has to offer.
The well-stocked fishing lakes are open year-round. They vary in size and provide a perfect experience for beginners as well as offering more challenging conditions for the experienced angler (board license required). This North Cornwall holiday park is the perfect place for a relaxing break with your friends and family.

Very bad expierience. We booked stay online through Hoseasons. Booked different accommodation than were given when arrived. The receptionist of the site said she can not help me with my complaint as it is not up to the Holiday site to see what Hoseasons offer online and any complaint I must address to Hoseasons. When I did, Hoseasons replied that Holiday site I should contact to solve the issue. Seem both sites do not feel responsible at all for the fact of false advertising and selling bookings with disinformation and false photos and description. What you book online may not be the same orceven similar when you arrive and get the key. Outregous is the fact that both sites have no courage to admit their fault in creating the confusion. Beside that cleaningnes of accommodation is very poor, cobwebs everywhere especially kitchen. Pets hair on the fridge. Very restricted rules of entry/using the pool, it happened that showers were freezing cold after session, very nice pool as itself though.

We arrived to a totally different lodge to the one booked. This was because Hoseasons website use an example of a lodge, that’s nothing like the one you’ve booked and paid for. We booked a silver lodge and got a grotty lodge. Totally different to the pics which aren’t representative of the accommodation you book so be warned, there were spiders everywhere in the first lodge. Ropie old place. Our heart sank as this was a last getaway before saying goodbye to grandparents as we were relocating. Staff were fabulous, sorted it immediately and put us in a better lodge but the floorboards were horrendous, no hot water in the evening and toilet system made the most horrendous noise we thought someone was drilling. Location was too out on a limb as well. Wouldn’t go back.
