Haystax Holiday Lodges is part of our exclusive Evermore collection, each lodge has been carefully put together to allow everyone with all abilities to enjoy a memorable holiday within the peaceful Durham countryside.
Beautifully nestled amongst rolling farmland and calm woodlands, the bespoke lodges have been exclusively designed with discrete accessibility features to allow families to meet their diverse needs, whilst not detracting from their luxurious feel to ensure everyone is considered.
Boasting spacious, open-plan living areas and level floors, they also have wide doorways which allow easy wheelchair access. There is a master kingsize bedroom and a twin bedroom, both sharing a bathroom. A further single bedroom has an additional pull-out bed with an accessible adjoining wet room with a smart toilet, and access to a mobile hoist and other adaptive equipment if needed.
Outside, sit back and relax on the enclosed deck and take in the blissful setting, or why not take advantage of the bubbling hot tub which has been thoughtfully added to ensure your stay is extra special?
Back to nature, and inclusion for all is Haystax’s most unique offerings, whether you choose to unwind in the on-site café with its sensory experiences, or ramble amongst the scenic woodland, this peaceful setting has so much to offer the whole family whatever the occasion. You will not be disappointed.
The park is located in a rural location where guests can embrace the open countryside with is woodland and farm walks. If you decide to venture further afield, the thriving towns of Consett and Hexham are nearby, or perhaps spend a day at Beamish and enjoy the Living Museum of the North.

I booked this cottage for my two daughters and their partners as a Xmas present. They all lived loved their stay and would definitely return. Highlight for them was feeding the Alpacas and cows on a morning in the field outside the coattage.

This cottage is everything you could want and more. Welcome basket with all your essentials was a lovely touch. Most comfortable bed I’ve stopped in away from home. The host was very helpful and provided all the info you could need. There’s even food to feed the alpaca and cattle provided. A lovely relaxing weekend
