Little Owl is a very special place. Beautifully and thoughtfully equipped. Spotlessly clean and very spacious. Lots of attention to detail. We absolutely loved our 7 nights at Little Owl. Loved the views and the hot tub. Lots of places to visit and enjoy locally. Corbridge is a hidden gem, as is Hexham Forum picture house. We enjoyed Washington Old Hall and the town, Seaham is a must.. fish and chips on the seafront after a coastal walk was the best I'd ever had. The Angel of the North was well worth a visit. Durham, of course. was a treat and we ordered an Uber door to door

Amazing location, the lodge is beautifully decorated and clean and tidy with everything you need and more. We have been a few times now and will return next year all being well. The owner is great loads of things to see and do locally. The beaches are worth a visit we did some beach glass hunting. Loads of places near by to eat out at. The lodge is great if you want to chill out and relax and very quiet with not many lodges on site. Would fully recommend this site to all our family and friends. The park is little but sweet for younger kids. The fact that it had Internet foe our boys is great. There was blankets so if you wanted to cuddle up on sofa you can. There is a hair dryer and fan on site which saved us taking these things.
