Dartmoor View

Really lovely little park! We booked a short stay (Monday to Friday) as it’s local and we wanted to see how our dog coped away from home for the first time. Opted for a hot tub for us and had a great week. The park is attractive, well appointed, and tidy. Bins for waste, recycling, and dog mess are all handy and spaced around the park for easy use.When we did have queries, the staff were available, polite, and helpful.We had some lovely day trips out as there is plenty to do locally, and we had all the kit in the chalet necessary to host family for dinner one evening, as the kitchen was well equipped.To explain the lack of ‘excellent’ on facilities: everything was present and correct as advertised, however, from a personal viewpoint, if we’d been there later in the season expecting to use the pool, we would’ve been upset to find it’s so small (about 8 - 10 metres long). Also, we only had two rolls of toilet roll meaning we had to pop to the nearby services (3 minute drive) - it would be handy if the park had a small shop area of basics for purchase.One note for future users: if you use your Netflix account, don’t forget to log out - the people who used our chalet next enjoyed the first 3 episodes of Bridgerton on our account before we realised we’d left it logged in!
