Brockwood Hall Lodges is part of our Wanderwood Lodge Holidays Collection, beautifully set off the beaten track down the picturesque winding roads of the Lake District’s Whicham Valley. Dotted throughout ancient woodland and surrounded by the majestic Blackcombe and Whitecombe Hills, this unique retreat is perfect for couples, families and friends looking to escape the hustle and bustle.

Each Scandinavian-inspired lodge boasts clever styling to bring the outside in through colour, texture and finish, with decks creating idyllic venues for soaking up the stunning scenery of rich green forests and star-spangled nights from your very own outdoor hot tub.

Pull on your boots and get busy exploring, bug-hunting or deer and badger-spotting on Brockwood’s own nature trail. Alternatively head out to the Lakes with a picnic for a day’s walking, riding, cycling or sailing.

We had the best weekend away here. We were a bit apprehensive because the lodge said pet friendly and we don't have a dog but the lodge was immaculate. Honestly the cleanest place we have stayed. There was everything we could have wanted there and lots of things not mentioned that are really helpful such as both bathrooms having toilet roll, kitchen roll, mini washing up liquid, tea towel and kitchen roll in the kitchen. There were mini shampoo, soap and shower gel in the bathrooms. Towels and hot tub towels. So convinient to have everything we needed and kitchen was really well stocked with utensils. The hot tub was ready to go when we arrived at around 6pm. They genuinely do empty and refill and clean between each set of guests as we saw this happen. The widlife was amazing. We had peacocks feeding out of our hands on our decking each morning and then put seed out and watched all the wild birds come. Our toddler loved it.In one weekend we managed to see Coniston Water, took the steam train to Windemere, a boat on Windemere and went to the lovely beach at Silecroft. There is so much to do if you are willing to drive a bit.Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. Didn't try the restaurant as we were busy out and about. Will 100% come back. Couldn't fault the place at all.
