The reception staff were lovely. Very helpful. My son left his expensive coat and they are willing to post it back to us. The park is literally a golf course with some caravans on. It does look up empty, like it’s being refurbished. No entertainment or arcades but just a restaurant/bar. I’d say it was aimed more at the older generation who are looking for some peace and quiet. Our caravan was quite far back away from reception, very quiet and we did do the woodland walk and was a nice walk. Caravan was lovely. Laura left us some essentials such as washing up liquid, tea towel and sponge. There also was a dishwasher with tablets. It was spotless, WIFI in the caravan too. Location wise - middle of nowhere. Everything is 45mins or more away for something to do. Some shops, Tesco and restaurants 10 min drive. Being from Manchester I felt the roads surrounding were like a death trap but that’s obviously out of the parks control. I would recommend if you literally want to relax and get away.
