I booked here to go quite late only a couple of weeks before. This is the first time we have used this park. Usually in a caravan park I book a gold or platinum caravan in previous parks. This time I read the reviews of the bronze caravan and chose to book as they were great.Upon arrival I was disappointed at the state of the caravan but we arrived so late into the evening with three small children, we just wanted to get them to bed. There were numerous things I disliked about the caravan- the toilet seat was falling off one of the toilets, the oven was COVERED in grease and was disgusting and hadn't been cleaned prior to us arriving. It took alot of cleaning from us before we used it. The bathroom was covered in mold, across the ceiling at the back, around the doors to the shower, and in the main bedroom- there was mold at the back of the headboard. In the mornings the condensation was dripping off the walls. The mirrors in the bathroom and the main bedroom had rust around the edges, and in the kids bedroom, there was wall paper stripped off the wall which had not been replaced.Under the beds, where the kids put their luggage, was COVERED in hair, dust and left over lego toys, so clearly had not been hoovered or maintained.Thankfully the bedding looked cleaned and changed prior to us using it, but we washed it at the launderette anyway. We were informed there was no other accommodation available on site due to it being half term.As we didn't have access to a washing machine (we were two adults and three children and two dogs in our party, - including a small baby), so we went to utilise the launderette. Upon arriving at the launderette, the main door was locked despite it saying it was open 24 hours. I rang the main office and was told, the launderette was faulty and wouldn't be used in the foreseeable, so our only option was to travel down the road to their neighbouring site to use their washing machine facilities.Upon arriving back from using the facilities at the sister site, we found the main door open and the washers back to use again!I was not only annoyed by having to travel BUT then being told they wouldn't be used again, and then they were. How hard is it to use signage on a door, or inform people upon their arrival that facilities are out of order. On one of the wet days, we took the kids to the arcade, which they loved, however they couldn't redeem any of their tokens as the machine wasn't working and we were informed to try the shop later in the evening, when it opened. By this time it was passed the kids bedtimes and they were thoroughly disappointed. The only redeeming feature we found at this park was its location- there was a beautiful woodlands behind the site which was perfect for taking the dogs for a walk in.Perhaps things would have been different had we picked a higher quality caravan, who knows, but regardless, it would have been a much better holiday for us, had we not had to contend with a dirty and unloved caravan.I will not be staying again

We had a lovely stay at Trelawne manor last week. Although our caravan was nice, clean, and good value for money, the pool and amusements are disappointing. Definitely needs updating. Despite this, we had a lovely stay and its in a great location close to Looe and Polperro.
