The lodge was beautiful and had everything you would need for a few days away. It was compact but extremely clean and functional. The only downside was the club house. The staff weren’t able to deal with the volume of customers and it took 1.5 hours to get our food. If we’d have been told about the delay with food upfront we could have made alternative arrangements or got the kids snacks while they waited. I would definitely avoid the Clubhouse if staying again. The location was great and extremely close to a variety of days out, pubs and restaurants.

Excellent site, great studio lodge with large hot tub ( checked three times a day).At the time of our visit it was very quiet and peaceful and we were lucky with the weather (south facing lodge so sun all day).Didn't use any of the facilities while we were there as we just wanted to relax and have a break from grandparent duties but the pool did look good.Used the hot tub on the lodge decking every night and some mornings.Definitely will be going back again next year👍
