Love2Stay Mid Wales

We booked a break here for a few quiet days away in Mid-Wales.Although this place would be great for some people (especially with young children) it wasn't really what we were expecting.There are some good points to note:Swimming pool and gym with additional treatments if requestedDelivery service of food from the café (during daytime only) to your lodgeExcellent outdoor play area for the children to useStaff are very helpful, even showing you to your lodge on the first day by carHowever there are also some bad points:Park location is rural which is great for relaxation but you can't walk from your lodge anywhere safelyLodge is for 4 people but only 1 large egg chair on the decking so can't sit outside together (unless using the picnic table)Hot tub is not very private (they have partial screens but other lodges can still see you in it)We did think that although it wasn't too busy when we visited that if the park was full in the height of Summer, it would be difficult to use the facilities on offer.Overall we would probably not recommend this holiday park to our friends and relatives.

This was a well-needed break that we were so looking forward to and it didn’t disappoint!On arrival there was a Doggy Welcome Pack - our boy loved the treats. The accommodation was ideal size for 2 of us - Black Barn 1. Having Netflix & Prime on the TV was a plus. The terrace had an egg chair & bean bag which were both well used.Robes were provided which were great for going out to our hot tub, which was kept clean daily by staff.We booked a massage each as a birthday treat. Definitely worth it! The staff were very friendly, and gave us a bottle of Prosecco for our birthdays - thank you ☺️ We made full use of the pool, sauna, steam room & jacuzzi - even had the pool to ourselves one afternoon. Even a small enclosed dog field which was great for our dog with no recall.No shop on-site but it’s only a 15 min drive to Newtown which has all the large supermarkets.
