I booked this for my friend’s Christmas present, never gone before and was completely unknown to what I should be expecting.I have never seen such amazing sites before. The pod rooms were cosy, had a small kitchen, dining table, seating area, a double bed, full bathroom with a toilet, shower and sink, and had enough space to be relaxed. The only issue with the pod was the floors being a little scuffed and chipped down to wear and tear, but other than that, everything was absolutely perfect. Their local restaurant provided great food, and a decent selection menu to choose from. The staff from the reception and restaurant couldn’t have been nicer and welcoming, this place was like a refresher everyone should have a chance to experience!Unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to do any of the activities they offer, but again, they have a great selection and variety of different activities such as archery, canoeing, sailing, fishing and more. Definitely planning in the near future to return!!

The lodge site was in a perfect tranquil location, the Pod we stayed in was lovely and clean and very well set out, it was perfect. On our first full day at the site we were planning on driving over to edinburgh for the xmas markets however the snow was too heavy even though the tractor was out clearing the drive way of the lodge site, my car would not make it off the site so we went to the shop to get some essentials and the surface and staff behind the counter were lovely and tried to google and facebook if killin markets were still taking place and if we could visit there. Will definitely be returning for another visit to the site during the summer when the weather is a bit better and more of the activities and bistro are open. I would definitely recommend.

We stayed at loch Tay resort for a week we had two dogs with us and our stay was excellent. I only had one complaint and that was the mattress. Unfortunately the mattress wasn’t good. The location is fantastic with amazing scenery and beautiful walks for all levels of hikers or walkers. Brilliant hikes up to Ben Lawers and around the area. The cabin was brilliant and very clean and spacious. We had a log fire which was really nice and can buy your logs, kindling and firefighters from reception and they will deliver them to your cabin for you. We popped in to killin which is less than 10min drive away. We found amazing walks around killin and very easy to park your car to begin your walks. Killin has some great shops for example- the outdoor shop was a good stop as I forgot my scarf and the man who served us was brilliant and very helpful, a co-op, info centres and a lot more. We also had food in killin The courie Inn hotel does take away and was really nice. We had dinner just over the bridge in a seafood restaurant and that was amazing food. Our stay overall was great our dogs loved it and the staff at loch Tay resort are great. I would recommend and will definitely book again soon.Thank you Loch Tay Resort
