The Leisure Park was ideal for our use of getting out and about in County Durham. Our caravan (Sage Caravan 2 wheelchair friendly) was a bit tired, clean but tired. It could’ve done with a bathroom socket too.

Not actually that much at the park..the 'shop' is a joke..couldn't even get a pint of milk. The nearest supermarket is about 10 miles away..missed opportunity? The entertainment hut was basic..didn't try any food as there was just a grease smell. Bar prices were about £6 a pint. The lodge itself was lovely but could have done with better mattresses, they were extremely thin and could feel the slats on the bed.The location was fine, peaceful. Overall good but a few very small tweaks could have been brilliant.
