Stayed here for a long weekend at the beginning of March, didn't have massive expectations TBH as we'd just decided we fancied a last minute cheap long weekend away, change of scenery, somewhere near the coast.Honestly we were blown away with what we got for what we'd paid. The Static caravan was immaculate, not old at all, had everything you'd need and positioned opposite a lovely little lake in a really quiet area of the large park. Maybe we lucked out, but we had a great few days. Kudos to the cleaning team! The only gripe about the static I had was the heating system, it was either redders or cold, could really do with a proper thermostat, but this wouldn't put us off staying here again. Not a problem for us as we don't mind walking but if you're lazy and don't like stretching your legs down by the lake probably isn't for you, the park facilities couldn't be further away, but we'd take the peace anyday over the noise near the bars and restaurants. Obviously nothing to do with Hoseasons but the onsite bar and food prices are way too high, especially the food. We ate in the restaurant once, the food is like Wetherspoons but three times more expensive, if we came back we wouldn't eat on site again, which is a shame really because the actual venue wasn't bad.Overall a great few nights and days, we'd definitely revisit and 100% book another static caravan stay with Hoseasons.
