As a headline summary in case you don't read through the below: *removed by Feefo* appear to be *removed by Feefo* lodges by using images of YR FARN Lodge calling it a Superior 2 lodge, but then Fishguard Bay Resort allocating customers in other 'Premium' lodges throughout the park site, some of which overlook a carpark, reception building, shop and Fishguard ferry port.....nothing like the sea views advertised on the *removed by Feefo* website of Fishguard Bay Resort. Our family had previously stayed at Fishguard Bay Resort booking through *removed by Feefo* . The lodge we booked was YR FARN which has the most fantastic costal views, our experience in 2021 was fabulous !Due to this previous experience (and our family having gone through a very tough year) as a Christmas present between my wife and I we re-booked again through *removed by Feefo* thinking we had again booked YR FARN lodge due to the specific images used and location of this lodge in the booking, with no mention that this was not the specific lodge we were booking but only 'representative' of the type of lodge we could expect. However, 2 hours before our arrival we were e-mailed and told we had been allocated a different lodge. Our hearts sank, we tirelessly attempted to speak with *removed by Feefo* and Fishguard Bay getting know where. We were eventually called back by one of the staff members from Fishguard Bay advising there was nothing that they could do, and we would need to speak with *removed by Feefo* (who were totally un-contactable....) Absolutely no empathy was shown, and got the impression that this was not the first time they have had to deal with complaints about this. The lodge we had been 'allocated' now overlooked the reception building, / Shop, carpark...and yes technically it did have a sea view....but of Fishguard ferry port.....and was certainly not worth the amountI paid for the 3 days for our visit. More importantly, Our first impressions of the lodge were that we were greeted at the lodge with a dirty hot tub filter and dog faeces on decking near the hot tub......and on the grass where we parked......absolutely disgusting ! The inside of the accommodation was clean, and have no complaints on the quality of the lodge itself.....However, some of the glasses were cracked and the the boiler leaked, which was reported to the maintenance, who were the only people visible throughout the stay. The reception & shop were never open or manned throughout the three days. *removed by Feefo* finally called us back on Sunday morning having arrived on the Friday evening......not very timely or helpful as were due to leave the very next day. The advice provided by *removed by Feefo* was that we should speak with reception and or the team at Fishguard Bay Resort who were no-where to be seen for our entire visit....I can honestly say I feel like I've been *removed by Feefo* , in my personal opinion the relationship in place between Fishguard Bay Resort and *removed by Feefo* is purposely difficult for customers, where both companies play you off against the other.....an absolutely shocking experience. *removed by Feefo* appear to be miss-selling lodges by using images of YR FARN calling it a Superior 2 lodge, but then Fishguard Bay Resort allocating paying customers in other 'premuim' lodges throughout the park, some of which overlook a carpark, reception building and Fishguard ferry port.....nothing like the sea views advertised on the *removed by Feefo* website. On speaking with *removed by Feefo* , they blame Fishguard Bay Resort for only providing images of YR FARN lodge. On speaking with Fishguard Bay Resort they told us that we should not have booked through *removed by Feefo* , and if we specifically wanted that lodge would should have booked through them directly. My personal opinion is that it all feels like a bit of a *removed by Feefo* , and taking advice on how best to formally report them both. I have since read reviews on Trustpilot, and can see that I am not the first to have experienced this misleading practice. Needless to say we feel totally let down.......you have been warned !
