We were looking for a base where it would be easy to visit different parts of Kent and this site is ideal. It is situated on a Roman road called stone street 4 miles south of Canterbury. Visiting Canterbury is made easy by a park and ride at the end of stone street and costs £4 per car return and leaves every 10 mins. The park itself had around 20 lodges and was wooded on one side. There is a reception with a few essentials and helpful staff but all food and drink must be bought in, although you can organise a supermarket drop or order on justeat. The local pub is closed but lots of lovely pubs within a 20 mile radius and one just a mile or two away - just do some research beforehand if you want to eat out.it was a lovely quiet site and easy to hide away from the outside world if that's what you want.
