Bulworthy Forest Lodges

4.6

out of 5

Bulworthy Forest Lodges is tucked away down a picturesque tree-lined drive leading to Bulworthy Forest in heavenly North Devon. Nestling in 25 acres of woodland teeming with flora and fauna, and boasting five well-stocked fishing lakes, this is the consummate setting for escaping to the country and losing yourself in perfect peace and good old-fashioned family fun.

These excellent secluded lodges truly make the most of the beautiful surroundings with spectacular lake views and hot tubs offering the ultimate way to unwind under the woodland canopy or marvel at the starry sky. The lakes offer free coarse and carp fishing, while woodland trails invite gentle rambles amongst an abundance of wildlife and wonderful bird-watching.

Bideford, Barnstaple, Torrington and a sandy beach, are all within just 5 miles, there’s a pub and shops just a short drive away.

Due to steep gradients Bulworthy Forest Lodges are not suitable for wheelchair users or persons with severe mobility difficulties.

Tired, quite shabby, needs lots of TLC to get it up to value of price point.Probably ok for families but for a couple used to more well- decorated properties, it was a disappointment. Probably not worth almost £1000 for December/January.Would not return

A really nice, cosy cabin in a very secluded and beautiful spot. The setting and location are perfect for a quiet and restful getaway. The cabin was cosy and very nice.Only comment would be that the saucepans and pans were very tired and really need to be replaced.

Used to go there frequently as was lovley place but after my last stay never agsin the place has been let go to the point wjere my parter is now suffering due to no hot water to bath in for over a week amd thr hottub was leaking to the point I had to fill it up everyday then the temp dropped because of thus due to the water having to warm up. Then the washing machine was ready to blow due to the drum being so lose the neighbours could here it and told me.. so definitely won't be back it's a shame as used to be a lovley place now like moast places people let it go shame how it's all about the money and not the care for people's happiness and enjoyment especially over Xmas period
