Blaithwaite Estate is a based on a private estate of 250 acres within the heart of Cumbria and just a short distance to the Lake District National Park. The estate has numerous trails where you can feed the animals or just wander through the woodland. There is a giant adventure playground, crazy golf and a giant chess in the orchard garden. The accommodation is ideal for family holidays where you can spend the day wandering through the park or exploring the area. The Lake District National Park is just a short drive where guests can enjoy a boat cruise across Lake Windermere, explore the shops and delightful cafes of Grasmere or perhaps explore the quiet west coast of Cumbria and take a narrow gauge steam trail into the Eskdale Valley on Lal Ratty. Whichever kind of holiday you are looking for, Blaithwaite provides something for everyone and after a day of exploring you can retreat back to your accommodation and relax in your private hot tub.

Fantastic accommodation surrounded by breathtaking countryside. Upon arrival, we discovered the router box was missing however this was soon resolved with staff attending within 10 mins of us ringing the out of hours number!Loved our stay, will definitely be making a return visit.

So I was looking forward to the place the location is good. This lodge is not for 6 people it’s tiny, a bit outdated and also was full of flies when I got in. In terms of the contact numbers there is no one who will answer whether it’s morning or night or weekend or midweek. So you are left to it. The lodge is ok for 3 people..
