Sympathetically decorated, the owners have mixed traditional features and antique furniture with modern furnishings and facilities, creating a very comfortable family home. There are four bedrooms upstairs; three double rooms and one twin room on the first floor, and an additional single day bed in the double bedroom on the second floor. All the bedrooms enjoy spectacular views across the gardens, and countryside beyond. Enjoy the two large living rooms on the ground floor, both with patio doors onto the garden and the added bonus of an extremely well-equipped kitchen. The house lies in its own enclosed grounds and offers a well maintained garden to relax in, a perfect spot for a morning coffee or why not gather around the firepit in the evenings.
This period property lies in the rural village of Botwnnog, a short drive to many of the Llyn Peninsula’s fabulous coastal villages and beaches including Abersoch, Llanbedrog, Hells Mouth, Whistling Sands, Aberdaron and Nefyn. Abersoch is a 15 minute drive from Ty’r Ysgol - it has many shops, pubs, restaurants and cafes along with an incredible beach which stretches away for as far as the eye can see. Venture beyond Abersoch to Porth Ceiriad for surfing or coastal walks. Llanbedrog beach with its picture-postcard beach huts is a really long, sandy beach. In the summer months there is a beach bar and cafe open near the entrance to the beach which is a great place to have a drink, ice-cream meal or just watch the sun go down. For the best surfing in the area head to Hell’s Mouth (Porth Neigwi), a dramatic beach with a fabulous backdrop of the Rhiw Hillsides.
