Situated down a quiet street in the historic village of Edzell, this comfortable holiday home has the added attraction of a hot tub in the rear garden area. The property has been well furnished and is ideal for couples wishing to explore this wonderful area. It is within a few minutes’ walk to the village amenities including a good coffee shop, café, two hotels (with bars open to non residents), gift shops and very a good butchers shop. The well known Edzell Golf Club is a 5-minute walk and offers a challenge for even the experienced golfer with an 18-hole and a 9-hole course in a parkland setting.

Edzell is situated at the foot of Glen Lethnot, one of the five Angus glens, a mecca for walkers of all abilities, the others being the neighbouring Glen Prosen, Clova, Glen Isla and Glen Esk. Numerous other golf courses are within a short drive, and this coupled with excellent beaches at St Cyrus and Montrose, make it an ideal spot for couples. Take the Victorian heritage trail from Fettercairn to Braemar for an interesting day out with some gorgeous scenery, or visit the numerous castles and stately homes which populate the area. The distillery at Fettercairn is worth a visit or just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful area. Beach 12 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.
