Lovely warm and clean cottage. Immaculate decor and nice position for views out of bedroom window. The only downside was the large property next door (Skeldale House) had a boiler that was constantly turning on and off and giving out lots of fumes that made it impossible to have windows open without filling bedrooms with strong fumes and the constant noise it generated was a bad disturbance throughout the night so could not sleep in second bedroom. Such a shame because the owners have made the cottage beautiful. Also dvd was not connected to TV. No correct cable.

We have stayed in this cottage three times and will be returning again later in the year. Great location for walking from the doorstep. Three great pubs, village shop and lovely bakewell tearoom. My only comments for the cottage as no visitor book to leave comments would be. Cottage handbook needs updated ie all wifi instructions are out of date. No baking trays in kitchen....a dishwasher would be handy🤣

This was a lovely, cosy and clean cottage, set in a delightful location with easy access to explore the beautiful surrounding Dales. The Bake-Well was wonderful to have in the village for breakfast baps and delightful cake! We would love to stay again.
