Church Street is a comfortable and cosy two bedroom terraced cottage with a lovely ambience. The living room has an open fire which will warm you as you relax on the leather sofas. There is a small, sunny enclosed garden and sitting-out area complete with bistro set to the rear of the cottage. Ambleside is a year-round holiday destination. Surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges, the scenery is ever changing with the seasons, from the rich colours of autumn, to the lush green backdrop of the fells in spring.
The magnificent Fairfield Horseshoe, Loughrigg and Wansfell are easily accessed from the cottage, although ample opportunities for level walks are also available. Ambleside is situated at the head of Lake Windermere, England’s largest natural lake, and offers many shops selling everything from walking equipment to jewellery made from locally quarried stone. No stay in Ambleside is complete without a trip on the lake on one of the famous cruisers. This is an ideal spot from which to explore all that the Lake District has to offer. Beach 19½ miles. Shop and pub 50 yards, restaurant 100 yards.
