If nature is your thing then Rutter Falls is a short 5-minute drive where you can watch red squirrels, deer, dippers, kingfishers, heron, goldcrest and lots more including the brown trout that are in our beck. For the lovers of long walks with captivating views then there are many options in the Cumbria district including Aira Force Falls, Cross fell, Helvellyn or Scafell Pike, all within 60 miles of our Wild Rose Caravan Park.

The famous River Eden flows through the centre of Appleby town which you can see from every attraction, including Appleby castle St. Lawrence church and Appleby leisure centre. Take a walk down church street and enjoy your pick of the bunch from their selection of restaurants from Asian to Italian.

For more upbeat and exciting activities then Penrith town centre is just a short 30-minute drive from Wild Rose or travel a bit longer for a day out in Bowness-Windermere, where you can find shopping centres, cinemas and bowling alleys.

Pick-up trucks, vans, commercial vehicles with company logos on are not allowed on the park.
