Waxham Sands Holiday Park is the ideal location and within walking distance to stroll over the sand dunes of Horsey gap and a great way to see the grey seal colonies. This immaculate and perfectly placed holiday park offers a range of holiday accommodation and is the perfect base to explore the wonderful Norfolk Coast and sublime Norfolk Broads!

The park itself has a superb range of facilities such as an on park shop, communal safari dining tent with games, and welcome reception. If you are looking for some activities you’ll find outdoor table tennis, boules court, new children’s play area and eco playground, playing field and there is also private on-park woodland. Plenty to keep you occupied if you fancy a more relaxing time within the park itself.

If you want to explore then there really is no better base, with direct access to the breathtaking Horsey gap beach, here dogs are welcome but must stay on leads as the colony of playful grey seals live here, Horsey Village has the Nelson Head pub should you fancy a refreshment or two. If you keep strolling north you’ll end up at the award winning Sea Palling beach and if you go in the opposite direction you’ll pass through the quaint Norfolk villages of Winterton and Caister. A little further and a short trip by car you can enjoy the family fun seaside town of Great Yarmouth where you’ll find an abundance of arcades, rides, shops, bars and restaurants. You can’t go to Norfolk without spending some time in the Norfolk Broads, if you head into Wroxham you’ll be able to hire a day boat, enjoy some food and beverage by the river and have a walk around the independent shops.
Waxham Sands Holiday Park is not only a great park to enjoy within itself but is one of the best base’s you can find in Norfolk that will allow you and your family the opportunity to explore everything Norfolk has to offer, and Norfolk has a lot to offer!

Claire Nottingham | Other First time visiting Waxham and it did not disappoint! Such a beautiful location, quiet, bursting with wildlife and a top quality site to stay at. We are a family of four with a 7 and 11 year old and they were thrilled by the seals only 5 minutes walk away and two great play areas to chose between. The staff were friendly and helpful, all in all a great choice.Horsey windpump is a lovely local national trust worth a visit, with good beaches at Sea Palling and Winterton for the kids to play (minus the seals). We did a boat trip on Hickling Broad which was another highlight and Thrigby Hall Wildlife Park too 😊

Rachel Ng175dj | Other Location was great as I loved the fact that the beach was a very short walk over the dunes. Caravan was ok, had all you needed really but bedroom were very small. I have stayed in many static caravans and never been in a double room so tiny. I was by myself so it didn’t matter that much that I couldn’t walk around the bed but even trying to open and close curtains had to be done while on the bed, no space to walk alongside it. A few things like bedroom wardrobe door and half the toaster were broken, but there was a nice touch of a doggy welcome pack and small bottle of milk along with tea, coffee and biscuits.

| Other Nothing to do on site, caravan was not the one advertised the asses road onto the site was not very good signage could be better radiator in one of the bed rooms did not work yes we did report it on a positive note it had the best information booklet in any of the 14 venues we've been to
