Jason Dagenham | Other Been here 7-8 times , nice relaxing place to turn off,, love the location , but think lodge we stayed in , needs to have upgrade , lodge 7 , pet friendly, ,, laminated floor is water damaged, kitchen appliances broken, faulty or not working ,, hot tub doesn’t bubble as supposed too, and decking is sagging and collapsing in places ,, main ensuite floor gives way under lino,as you get out of shower , but on plus side, clean bedding, and boathouse is nice place to socialise

| Other Lodge was clean and had everything we needed. There was an odd smell in the lodge when we first arrived but that soon dispersed when we opened the windows for a bit.The hottub was not up to temperature on the first night but we called reception and then sent maintenance out who topped it up with hot water so it was ready within 30 mins. Worth the call.Train station is a 5 min walk away to get to London so great location for that.

Jon | Other This has all the potential to be a fabulous family holiday location. The tv is satellite, and shows about 4 channels if you’re lucky … so probably request not to be in lodge 4 until satellite is fixed, of service changes to cable. Everything is clean and tidy. But a refurb is probably due in the next year - as things are starting to get tired.One of the neighbouring lodge light - shone into the main bedroom the whole night, which was somewhat irritating. Our porch light did not work. Lots of switches don’t do anything. As I say - place just needs some tlc / to bring it up to date.
