Hartsop Fold Lodges is part of our Wanderwood Lodge Holidays Collection. The park is blessed with outstanding panoramic views from its idyllic setting between Brotherswater and Ullswater in the heart of the Lake District and is the perfect opportunity for families, friends and four-legged friends to truly get back to nature.

Each superb Scandinavian-style lodge unites homely comfort with country practicality - including heated storage for muddy boots and wet coats! The lodges also have a large verandah for enjoying the outdoor air and night sky. The immediate area is home to red deer, red squirrels, badgers, peregrine falcons and ospreys and with the Lakeland Fells on your doorstop opportunities abound for all levels of abilities to enjoy the outdoors including fellwalking, woodland nature trails, boat trips and mountain biking.

Local attractions are easily accessible with Aira Force just a few minutes’ drive, Ambleside and Windermere just 6 miles and Penrith 16 miles. Hartsop Fold Lodges allow fantastic access to all that the Lake District has to offer.

Dawn Keighley | Other Lovely lodge Beautiful views, warm and comfortable. Some of the furniture a bit worn Chairs and sofa but clean Fridge is too small and can’t hold milk or cool wine which is a shame

Hannah Suffolk | Other We have just returned from a pre- Christmas week at Hartsop fold and we had an amazing time. The scenery just breathtaking and even more so when it snowed on our last day. Despite being pet friendly the lodges are very much cleaner than expected. The lodges are well equipped, smart tvs and a speaker came in very handy for watching Christmas movies and playing xmas songs. I love the fact they have a rechargable torch/ night light and the free laundry room was useful and extremely clean. Staff are seldom around but when they are, they are very friendly and helpful. The shower was powerful and the hot tub was amazing to enjoy after climbing Red Screes. Thank you very much for a lovely holiday and we hope to be back soon.

Holly | Other Another wonderful stay at Hartsop Fold. The facilities are excellent and there are multiple walks straight from the lodge. The lodge has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The drying room for wet gear as part of the lodge, and the free use of a washing machine and dryer set this site apart from others. We'll be back again no doubt.
