      | Other We had a fantastic stay at this lodge! The location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views that make for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The lodge itself was excellent—clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The only thing I’d mention as an advisory is the hot tub. It takes several hours to heat up, and as someone who is unfamiliar with how these work, it would have been helpful to know in advance so we could have planned accordingly. There is a building site at the end of the lodge, which made the area quite muddy, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. I just hope the views remain as lovely once the new lodges are built!Overall, a wonderful place to stay, and we’d definitely return!

Janette Preston | Other We stayed for 4 nights and the lodge was lovely and spacious. Fantastic view and nice area surrounding the lodge with walks from the door around the site (about 1.5 miles on the perimeter) with some great views of the surrounding area. The lodge was fairly well equipped and clean. We didn't have time to use the swimming pool or restaurant but they both looked very good. We loved the quietness and would definitely return.

      | Other We spent Mon-Fri in the Townsend lodges. They were absolutely stunning. The kids had plenty to do on site to keep us busy and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The lodge had everything we needed and more. The place was spotless. The only thing that was negative was the hot tubs are wood fired so very hard to control the temp we were always too hot or too cold. They’re quite new lodges and were still building next to us which made the path in and out very muddy but the kids with their wellies loved the muddy puddles. Overall we had a fantastic stay and will be back.
