        Stephen Southend | Other We stayed in this same lodge last year, loved it so much we returned for another week. Its relaxing, with peaceful surroundings, places to take the dog, and great facilities. Free use of the swimming pool, gym, steam room etc. I imagine there is a charge for the golf. The lodge itself is spacious enough for 4 adults. Kitchen is quite well equipped, could do with a larger fridge and more cutlery/crockery.The shower gel was empty on arrival, but housekeeping refilled, and left a couple of extra towels we asked for. Last year there was a complimentary dog basket, with treats and toys, but not this time. And apparently the salt & pepper grinders are "decorative"! Those couple of niggles aside, we had a great time and will be returning.

        Paul Aylesbury | Other The chalet was reasonably well appointed though the main heating system was a bit cool and on for only a small period, but the electric fire compensated well. The jacuzzi was great but unusually, and for the first time in a Hoseasons site, there wasn't a small welcome pack to welcome our dog.
