Claire Essex | Other Lodges are lovely and well equipped for a weekend break could do with some baking trays if you were going to stay for a week and cook for yourselves! We had a problem connecting go the WiFi called reception and someone came within 5 minutes and rectified this for us. Lovely site to have a walk to the marine. We didn’t use the restaurant but did get a takeaway from the onsite Indian restaurant which was nice. Only thing that we could find to fault was the train tracks were opposite our lodge so was a bit noisy early in the morning but other than that a really pleasant stay.

Jason Dagenham | Other Been here 7-8 times , nice relaxing place to turn off,, love the location , but think lodge we stayed in , needs to have upgrade , lodge 7 , pet friendly, ,, laminated floor is water damaged, kitchen appliances broken, faulty or not working ,, hot tub doesn’t bubble as supposed too, and decking is sagging and collapsing in places ,, main ensuite floor gives way under lino,as you get out of shower , but on plus side, clean bedding, and boathouse is nice place to socialise
