    Located in the heart of the Northumberland countryside, Riverside offers you a perfect base to relax and unwind in tranquil surroundings. With a host of family friendly activities, there’s something for everyone. The facilities, located adjacent to the main park, include an indoor heated pool and Riverside Bar & Grill, as well as seasonal family entertainment.


    Riverside is an excellent base for exploring the nearby National Park, home to a wealth of scenic and historic attractions. The ancient market town of Wooler, gateway to the Cheviots, is just a short walk away. Sandy beaches, dramatic coastlines, and Alnwick Castle (of Harry Potter fame) are within 30 minutes’ drive of the park. There is also horse-riding, bike hire, and watersports available locally. Discounts are available for a selection of local activities and attractions.

    Michele | Other Holiday lodge was tired, really flimsy, more like a large caravan. Hot tub was good but not hot enough to use on the first night.Pool is not onsite but over the road. The clubhouse/restaurant is also not onsite.Refuse site was overflowing with rubbish and other broken stuff. The grounds were probably the nicest part of the park, being manicured and kept nice. The play parks were also nice.
