      | Other Where to start!! on arrival we were told that the hot tub was cleaned and ready, but in fact the filter was full of grime like a fish tank. Cupboards were dirty dead flys on window sills and carpet needed a good hoover. Shower in the main room didn’t get hot and low pressure opted for a bath but not convenient for a 6ft person. 1 pan and a frying pan with loose handle dirty cutlery and dishwasher still had food waste in. Decking around the hot tub was rotten and would have been an issue if we had young children. Broken bed on one side apart from that we slept well as the mattress was thick so sunk into the hole of the base.Best part of the holiday was being welcomed by a few family’s of Ducks and their ducklings. Very disappointed to have to clean before we could enjoy our break away☹️ wouldn’t recommend. Lodge needs TLC and a new cleaning company.

      | Other Lovely quiet location Although the lodge is looking a little tired it has everything you need for a relaxing stay including a lovely hot tub. Only thing I would say is the water pressure in shower was very poor.
