Set in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, this charming, holiday glamping park, that has been awarded Best Luxury Countryside Glamping Site - East Anglia by European Travel Awards 2022, delivers the perfect setting for a delightful and relaxing glamping experience. Glamp @ The Priory is sat on the boarder of Norfolk and Suffolk, and is a stone’s throw away from the tourist hot spot of the Norfolk Broads. Five miles away you’ll find the market town of Beccles, and slightly further afield, 12 miles, the award-winning beaches of Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth await.

The site is a working farm so you’ll be able to see the cows, pigs and horses roaming around the 850 acres of land, special mention goes out to the handsome herd of Highland cows you’ll be sure to come across during your stay.

Rachel Bolton | Other Off grid ready camping in secluded spot. Very small ,thoughtfully laid out site. Each pitch has it's own shower shed and compost loo. Which was a bit strange at first but got used to it. Gas camp stove, crockery and utensils all provided.Taps located inside and outside the shed are drinking water. Each pitch has their own BBQ area. Small solar panel for phone charging, but ours didn't seem to have enough solar energy to work. There is no other electric supply. Parking area away from pitches. Wheelbarrows onsite.Plenty of space for kids to run around. My son is 14, and he enjoyed our 4 night stay. A great base to explore the area.

Elsa Worcestershire | Other This glamping site is absolutely lovely. Really nice location, short 25 mins drive to Great Yarmouth or Lowestoft which have beautiful beaches. Loved that it’s on a working farm, (if you’re not ok with early rising though, the cows might disturb you) we loved our stay there. Gavin was so friendly and helpful and always available when needed. The only reason I didn’t put the fifth star is although I understand the reason for the compost toilet, it is a very unpleasant thing after the first 24hours. The shower is in the same shed, very little space and the light keeps going off while in the shower. Plus being next the loo is not nice. I would definitely go back though inspite of the loo, perhaps if it was cleaned out every day or at least every 2 days that would be better. Very safe enclosed space. Children’s play area is lovely. Relaxing knowing that the children are all safe playing with lots of new friends.

Jody Northampton | Other We stayed for 4 nights during the summer holidays. 2 adults and 2 children in a Bell Tent. The Glamp site was perfect for our break. There are 4 tents and 3 shepherd's huts, so the site is only small, but with plenty of space for children to run about. The play park in the centre of it all is a godsend and a great way for all of the children on site to make friends. Our children are 6&8yrs so it was a great facility for them. The Bell tents are really well equipped, beds are really comfy and there is plenty of space. 10 minute drive to Beccles where there are 3 supermarkets for anything you might need. Beccles itself is a lovely little town, Rao's ice cream parlour was great for the kids. Beccles Lido was fully booked when we visited, but had great reviews. We opted to go to Waverney Leisure Centre one day instead in Bungay, which was just as fun. We also had days out in Southwold, Dulwich and Walberswick. The only thing we weren't so keen on was the composting toilet. By our 5th day it had really started to smell, but we were there during a heatwave (30 degrees most days) so I'm not sure that helped. It wasn't awful, but just something to be aware of it you're sensitive to odours.

Country Cottage is a traditionally styled bell tent that is purposefully designed to give you the ambiance you would typically experience whilst staying in a customary country cottage but with a glamping twist. This bell tent includes a double bed and sofa bed to sleep up to four people, as well as a dining table that can host the tents capacity. There is solar lighting and fairy lights, along with electric charging points for mobiles and electronic devices and 3 pin sockets for low wattage items. There is a single gas hob, a fridge, and a fire pit (wood can be purchased, or bring your own (must be kiln dried and smokeless as the site is in a nature reserve).
