It’s also famous as the location for Conan Doyle’s ‘Hound of the Baskervilles’. It has 368 square miles of windswept, dramatic and uncrowded moors to enjoy!

Of note is Woolacombe Beach, one of the jewels in Devon’s crown with three miles of golden sand of Blue Flag status and the Tarka Trail; its 30 miles forms a figure-of-eight and follows the path the brave otter takes in Henry Williamson’s beloved novel.
