    Julie Cardenden | Other We booked a Gold VIP Lodge (non pet). When we arrived it was not what was pictured on the Hoseasons website, it was a variation of it. The picture lead you to think the decking would go all the way round but it didn't, it was only at the back. There was a dog bowl in the cupboard, why, if it was a pet free lodge? The ensuite shower base had never seen bleach since it was installed. Clearly hadn't been hoovered well as there was circular confetti from previous guests i.e. birthday celebrations lying at the back of the table. It was still ok, the location of the site itself was very remote.

    | Other We liked the setting and was impressed with JJs restaurant facilities. Found it strange that the Pizza place etc was rarely open though.We were disappointed with our Bronze Lodge in that the 2nd bedroom was very small and the ensuite to the main bedroom consisted of only a toilet and sink. There was no dishwasher, washing machine, or fan to help with hot weather. Nor was there any form of Welcome Pack!!! All other self-catering lodges we have stayed at have provided tea bags, coffee & milk as a bare minimum. This can be particularly valuable for late arrivals. If we stayed again we would definately be looking for a larger lodge with a slope to the door rather than steps as my wife has mobility issues.
