    JT13 Bedfordshire | Other Location and surroundings are amazing and the lodge has the potential to be brilliant. Unfortunately it was let down by the standard of cleaning - bathroom had black mould around the shower, and dirty shower head. Main living area had not been cleaned fully, tables were dirty and floor had not been hoovered. We raised this with reception who sent in the cleaners but nothing changed!! Luckily we had our own cleaning supplies so ended up cleaning the place ourselves.Also for a self catering lodge there was a distinct lack of catering items so be prepared to take what you need with you if you are planning to eat in the lodge.

    Daf Caerphilly | Other Was a lovely resort and accommodation. Could have been perfect but a few maintenance issues in our lodge in that dishwasher did not work, and slow draining sink in bathroom. Apart from that perfect. Great onsite restaurant aswell.

    | Other The Springs was a good place to stay for a few nights with lots to do in and around the area. The spa facilities were lovely and staff very polite. The cleanliness of the lodges needs improvement. There was mud on the floor when I checked in, a bad smell coming from one of the bathrooms and cobwebs everywhere. The flooring in the bathroom was also lifting and peeling away and terribly discoloured. The Springs is a good place to stay but better attention to detail is needed for the cleanliness.
