| Other This was definitely not a luxury resort. We have stayed in several lodges and this one is not up to the same standard. Whilst the lodge was clean and the location was very peaceful, it was lacking some touches which would make it luxury. Whilst we were told upon booking about the lack of towels, I really think this would have made a difference. The most disappointing part was the hot tub which was incredibly small and did not fit four people in. Unfortunately we will not be returning

| Other If we hadn't been sent a number for the gate I would have thought the site was closing down, there was only for lodges and all the other sites were empty and it just looked derelict. The lodge was clean but very basic not luxury, we have stayed in some lovely lodges but this was awful stayed one night and thanks to a phone call to hoseasons before we left managed to get a refund less one nights stay. Advice don't book Great Harlow luxury lodges as you would be disappointed.
