| Other The lodge is lovely thougbt the decking needs some minor easy repairsThe bed is comfy and the large shower room is great The lounge area could do with a new sofa but thats just a personal view Kitchen is really good with everything you need

Jeff Filey | Other Windsor Lodge is a great couples lodge with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was lovely and the large smart tv great for an evening of Netflix and Chill!The only downside for me was the fishing. I'm not a novice angler by any means, I've been fishing for over 40 years and used to be a fairly sucessful match angler, but Gadlas had me stumped. I fished every day for 3-4 hours and had a single common carp that was well under 5lb. That was the only bite I had all week!I plumbed a lot of the swim in front of Windsor and it appears to be a flat bottom with no features and only 18"-24" deep. There don't appear to be any silver fish (bream, roach, etc.) in the pond at all just a few head of carp, so if, like me, you are just looking to do a few hours pleasure fishing in the evening Gadlas Park isn't the place to do it, even the Bivvy & Bite alarm brigade were struggling to catch the week we were there.
