The interior consists of a striking contrast of dramatic moorland that includes the Dartmoor National Park and a patchwork of green leafy lanes that criss-cross the region.
Dartmoor actually has two national parks as well as five areas of outstanding natural beauty, a UNESCO World Heritage site, Geopark and Biosphere Reserve. It’s also famous as the location for Conan Doyle’s ‘Hound of the Baskervilles’. It has 368 square miles of windswept, dramatic and uncrowded moors to enjoy!
The English Riviera; Torquay, Paignton and Brixham, are a magnet for those looking for a seaside holiday with lots of attractions and activities for all ages. It also has a rich maritime history, plenty of sporting events and water sports activities.
