    Ben Wallsend | Other The bed in the master room was a bit odd. Quite a small bed frame with a mattress much bigger than the bed. The oven didn’t work at first (gas) but realised a fitting needed adjusted. Overall the lodge is very big and worth paying extra for. We enjoyed the decking area and hottub

However …….Lodge absolutely stunk on arrival, we had to vent it We had to throw food away that was left in the cupboards Bird muck was all over decking/furniture, we had to cleanHot tub was situated on stone, kids had to walk over Bed felt like sleeping in a shopping trolleyTv didn’t work, couldn’t watch the euro games Out of office number not reachable - what happens in total emergency?Obvs it’s a signal black spot but no WiFi provision - we couldn’t get hold of each other or family members back homeSome basics, No pizza slice, No bath mats BBQ stands chargeable although we had upgraded, but they were free with lesser lodgesWe paid for the most premium lodge on the site, yet the benefits of WiFi and working tv’s were found in the more affordable accommodations.Not value for money, wouldn’t recommend the spindle spa.
