St Michael's Mount, Marazion
The beautiful island castle of St. Michael's Mount is often touted as one of the must-visit attractions in Cornwall. You'll need to buy a ticket if you want to explore the castle grounds and gardens, or to access the island during the main season of May to September. Otherwise, it's free to visit the harbour and village from October to April, and is well worth it for the climb to the top of the island, where you can admire breathtaking panoramas of the sea and the nearby town of Marazion. If you're walking to and from the island across the causeway, keep in mind that you don't want to get caught out by high tide!
