This enchanting walk takes you to the breathtaking natural wonder of the High Force Waterfall, which has a dramatic 70-foot drop. The scenic trail passes along well-marked paths and has picturesque ciews of the River Tees. The Bowlees Visitor Centre is a great start and end point for the walk, as you can take advantage of the facilities as well as local information. The long-distance Pennine Way is one of the most iconic hiking trails in England, spanning from Derbyshire right up to the Scottish Borders. As it passes through the North Pennines, there are some challenging sections with steep ascents, which in turn provide some incredible views.
