This popular little village complete with museum, shops and restaurants lies on the spectacular heritage coastline with the Cleveland Way running along the cliff tops. A parking permit is provided for the village car park when visiting. Whitby only 11 miles away is accessed via Sandsend with its stretch of golden beach. Within 10 metres from the front door there is a public area with benches.
