Nestled within a peaceful hamlet and boasting panoramic views towards the sea and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne ensure Bramble Barn is the quintessential coastal retreat!
Formerly a farm steading sensitively converted to provide a small cluster of prestigious stone-built cottages the quality and location of Bramble Barn is sublime.  The immaculately presented lounge features a lovely stone fireplace where the cosy wood-burning stove is idyllic to gaze into and watch the flames dance after a day exploring the stunning Northumbrian coastline close by. Floor to ceiling windows gives the living space a bright and airy ambience and a patio door leads to the fully enclosed patio garden; a perfect spot to watch the sunrise or dine alfresco and admire the open views towards the sea and Holy Island beyond.  The contemporary dining kitchen has many integrated appliances and is very well equipped.  Both double bedrooms (one en-suite) are tastefully furnished and positioned on the first floor along with the family bathroom.

Had a temporary problem with the heating and unable to get a response from the agency, hence the good not excellent for comfort and equipment. However the owner was straight on to it and had a plumber/engineer visit to resolve it the next day. Cannot fault the owner; she kept me updated throughout. The cottage is lovely, the log burner was essential, and great to come back to after a day out walking. Well equipped, although we mostly ate out, it had all that was necessary to cook a full meal I've required. Great views over to the coast.

We loved are time in the barn we spent it with our friends enjoyed time walking and the dog loved her time running around the beaches, the cottage is lovely, found a few little cleaning issues ie cobwebs lose fitting in the bathroom the mirror lose on wall the and plug didn’t fit in the same bathroom this just minor things, TV could be bigger as the room is large and the TV is really quite small. All in all love stay

The location for us was perfect as we like being rural. The views are amazing. That said there is a nice pub and well stocked shop within walking distance but you do have to cross the A1 Good walks from the door but it’s a great location to visit the beautiful beaches and countryside The property is warm, cosy and comfortable. The garden is well secure for most dogs although the owners did warn us the wall is jumpable which I would have appreciated if I had an escape artist. Communication with the owners was great. All together a lovely property in a great area with nice owners.
