Charging your EV at one of our holiday parks is simple, but the options vary from site to site. Depending on where you are staying there may be an EV charging point specific to your property, or there may be an EV charging location somewhere in the park. Get in touch to find out the specific details of your booking. Details on how to do this can be found in your booking email or on the Hoseasons app.
The cost of charging your EV varies depending on where you are staying with us, and is usually not included in the price of your holiday. Get in touch to find out about the specific charges where you have booked, and how to arrange this for your stay. Details can be found in your booking email, or on the Hoseasons app.
It’s a great idea to take your EV on holiday with you to ensure you have flexibility for day trips to surrounding towns and villages, popping out to the shops, or simply feeling the wind through your hair on a scenic drive! Making the long journey from home to your destination can be stressful for EV drivers, and so it’s crucial to make a recharging plan before you set off. Knowing the maximum distance your car can travel before it will need to be recharged is a good idea, and plan ahead so that you can recharge before your EV is fully out of power. There are some 75,000 public EV charging points in the UK, and using apps like ZapMap and PodPoint can make it really easy to locate them on your journey. Remember that you’re also likely to find EV charging spots at major supermarkets and motorway services which you might come across on route too. When recharging in new areas, be aware that different charge point networks carry different fees, and the cost may be different to what you expect at home.
